How we got 1K email sign ups from a giveaway contest
Beckett Simonon is a Colombia-based direct-to-consumer menswear shoe startup that focuses on providing luxury dress shoes, boots, and leather sneakers for less. We partnered with the footwear brand in March 2019 and hosted a giveaway campaign for one lucky contestant to win a $400 gift card for 2 pairs of shoes.
The business’s main goals were to drive awareness in the United States through influencer marketing and to build its email list. To qualify for the contest, contestants would have to enter their email addresses.
We selected 4 influencers to work with on this campaign. Each influencer posted several images from the photoshoot featuring Beckett Simonon product, producing a collective impact of the following metrics below.
